Rene Marie Russo was an American actor, filmmaker and supermodel. Famous for her stunning beauty, her longevity in the highly popular film industry speaks to her talent and skills as an actor. She was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on the 29th of June, 1992. Rose participated in kickboxing and basketball as a child. She made her debut in professional competition at age 18 at the Invicta Fighting Championships, where she managed to win two contests through submission. Dana White was impressed and signed Rose to the UFC's strawweight division aged the age of 22 in December 2014. All through Rose's time in the sport, she's experienced periods of levels of highs and lows while each succeeding. Rose fought Carla Esparza at The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale in April of 2015. She was awarded the Women s Strawweight Championship and was also awarded the title of Fighter of the Night. This was the first time a female wrestled in a major promotion title. Namajunas continued to win several other fights. She also beat Joanna Jedrzejczyk two times, earning her Performance Of The Night awards from UFC.
